Finn’s Family

My husband and I contacted Esther last year when we thought about adding a third Wheaten to expand our Wheaten family. We had a very cherished Lhasa Apso named Jewel, who was in her 19th year and her health was failing. Our Jewel went to doggie heaven this summer (2016). We literally learned that Esther’s Duchess was having babies on the same day that Jewel left us. I am a firm believer in the sayings that if things are meant to be, they will be and everything happens for a reason; nothing could be more true about that statement than our experience with Esther.

My husband and I were so excited when we heard the news that Duchess was finally pregnant. Our other 2 Wheatens came from other breeders, and although I love them more than words can say, I have never had such a wonderful experience with a breeder when awaiting the arrival of a new puppy. Esther was so kind and thoughtful to send daily pictures and video updates of the puppies progress after their birth. My husband and I fell in love with all of them. Esther freely gave her time to answer any questions, and provide input on our pending new addition. I have also never seen someone put so much effort into ‘family raising’ the puppies-from the little toys for all of them to play with, to the soft and cozy accommodations, and including the Thanksgiving puppy-dinner picture and card, Esther truly went above and beyond to share all the wonderful experiences with the new families.

When Esther said she would pick our puppy for us, that was something we had never experienced before. I must say, we were not in the least concerned after witnessing that Esther is a true professional and would chose the right fit for our family. Finnegan is an absolute treasure. His new 6 year older sister Angelina LOVES him (they are inseparable), and his new 11 year older sister Maggie, well, let’s just say she’s still interested, lol!

Thank you Esther, for giving us our little man. He is the sweetest, funniest, well behaved puppy I think we have ever had. He loves the outdoors, which is perfect for our property. His favorite thing is to be out running in the woods with his mom and his sisters. Mom is still faster than him, for now, but he is a really good listener and never lets us out of his sights-the benefits of having older dogs to help raise the puppy! I would definitely seek another Wheaten from Esther in the future, without any hesitation, and would highly recommend her as a breeder.
